Variables are available at annual, monthly and daily averages and are estimated as follow:

  • Temperature

Temperature variable corresponds to values of near-surface (2 meters height) mean air temperature averaged over the considered time period (daily, monthly, annual), expressed in °C.

  • Maximum temperature

Maximum temperature variable corresponds to daily maximum of near-surface (2 meters height) air temperature averaged over the considered time period when applicable (monthly, annual), expressed in °C.

  • Minimum temperature

Minimum temperature variable corresponds to daily minimum of near-surface (2 meters height) air temperature averaged over the considered time period when applicable (monthly, annual), expressed in °C.

  • Rainfall

Rainfall variable corresponds to the daily rainfall accumulated (not averaged) over the considered time period (daily, monthly, annual) (expressed in mm.day-1, mm.month-1, mm.year-1 or respectively).

  • Solar radiation

Solar radiation variable corresponds to values of mean surface downwelling shortwave radiation averaged over the considered time period (daily, monthly, annual) expressed in W.m-2

  • Wind speed

Wind speed variable corresponds to values of mean near-surface (10 meters height) wind speed averaged over the considered time period (daily, monthly, annual) expressed in m.s-1
